The annual Monte Carlo Travel Market is no different, standing out among the many travel shows for just who the market targets: individual clients. And not just any individual, and you know who you are. This market has been described as the place where luxury tourism and affluent lifestyles meet.

The Monte Carlo Travel Market is an exclusive and unique show that is open to exhibitors, hosted buyers and individual clients. Only a select group of leading products, services and properties take part, each coming from the prestige travel, luxury or lifestyle industries.

Like a custom tailored suit, here travel is that which is made for kings, adventurers and explorers. Nothing is set to chance. This is where luxury is the real thing: be it in space tourism or more earthly passions like a luxury yacht or an exotic safari tour.

The market takes place annually in the second week of January in the 5,000 square meter Espace Ravel of the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco, on the seafront exhibition space. Exhibitors have the opportunity to meet and develop business relations with a very select group of visitors, hosted buyers and high-end individual clients. Exhibitors have been noted to come from sectors like hotels and resorts, private villas, private aviation companies, space travel, exclusive tour organizers and adventure travel companies.

In 2007 this luxury travel market established itself with an increasingly successful business platform. Some 410 participating hosted buyers from 32 different countries attended, meeting with some 380 exhibiting participants. Organizers claim 5,280 appointments were achieved between exhibitors from the travel industry and selected buyers. Additionally, the event attracted a total of 11,500 individual clients. In Monaco, anything is possible, and we are pretty certain that the adventure starts here.
